简介

Ryann Ricchio provides labor and employment services to clients ranging from small, locally owned businesses to large multinational corporations, including both public and private employers.

Ryann devotes much of her practice to advocating for clients before various federal, state and local agencies. Ryann provides representation throughout all stages of charge defense and has defended nearly 100 charges in the last several years. Ryann also litigates in both federal and state court, including under Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), and ERISA, among others statutes.

As a proactive advocate, Ryann also draws upon both her defense experience and her own previous work in human resources departments when counseling clients through challenging and sensitive matters, including internal complaints, workplace investigations, leave management issues, policy reviews, performance management, and discipline and discharge situations. Ryann also enjoys conducting training for managers and members of clients’ human resources departments.

Past Human Resources Experience

Before her legal career, Ryann worked at ArcelorMittal Indiana Harbor handling bargaining unit personnel matters. She initiated strategic recruitment plans for craft positions, facilitated interviews and maintained working relationships with local labor unions. She also worked at Citizens Financial Bank, offering support in federal compliance matters, employee training and disciplinary issues.

Tax Experience

When Ryann joined Faegre Baker Daniels, she was a member of the tax advocacy practice group, where she assisted corporate taxpayers with matters involving state income and franchise taxes, sales and use tax, and local property tax and exemption issues.
