Drawing from a broad understanding of corporate law and a background as a nonprofit leader, Mohamed Sabur provides tactical legal expertise to help individual and nonprofit corporate and trust clients operate efficiently and advance their goals.
With nearly a decade of legal experience, he offers expertise in abstruse areas such as:

- Public charities and private foundations
- Churches, mosques and religious organizations
- International charitable transactions and operations
A civic-minded attorney, Mohamed previously acted as an associate at Adler & Colvin and as counsel and director of the Program to Strengthen Muslim Charities at Muslim Advocates. He also served as a communications assistant to Rep. Betty McCollum, D-St. Paul, and as a legislative assistant to former Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minneapolis, Minnesota’s current attorney general.
These collective experiences have given Mohamed a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape and have informed his nimble approach to advising clients on flourishing within the regulatory parameters established by their industry.
Personal Interests
While he’s all too happy to analyze the implications of the latest updates to nonprofit corporate law and federal tax-exempt law, Mohamed’s interests don’t stop there. He enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and three young children. He’s also a self-proclaimed car enthusiast, tech geek and Vikings fan. Enter football debates lightly.
