Overview

Allison Schten supports businesses as they operate and grow internationally. A corporate lawyer, she advises on cross-border commercial transactions and corporate reorganizations, as well as foreign investment and antitrust matters, including Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States (CFIUS) filings, U.S. Hart-Scott Rodino (HSR) filings and foreign merger control filings. Allison also advises clients on U.S. export matters, including compliance with trade sanctions programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Clients come to Allison for assistance on forming, managing and dissolving foreign subsidiaries. Allison collaborates with Faegre Drinker’s London and Shanghai offices and Lex Mundi affiliates to better serve international clients.

Previous Experience

Allison also developed legal experience as a summer associate with Faegre Baker Daniels, a rights and reproduction intern for the Indianapolis Museum of Art, a judicial extern for Justice Mark S. Massa of the Indiana Supreme Court, and an intern with British firm Mishcon de Reya’s Art Law practice group in London.

Personal Interests

Allison is passionate about beautiful art and architecture and enjoys watching basketball and staying active through skiing and hiking.
