Dan has represented some of the world’s largest industrial, medical device and telecommunications companies in patent litigation. He has tried cases, as well as handled numerous preliminary injunction matters, Markman hearings and dispositive motion hearings, in dozens of patent infringement matters. He also advises and counsels on IPRs and other proceedings before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
Dan’s experience includes the following technologies: complex polymer chemistry, wireless communications protocols, chemistry and chemical engineering technologies, arterial stents, telecommunication networking architecture, geo-location technologies and database management, QR code technologies, and internet-related technologies.
Dan also represents clients in software and licensing disputes, including copyright and trade secrets disputes.

Additionally, Dan counsels on intellectual property portfolio management and transactions, including structuring and negotiating IP licenses, joint ventures and technology agreements. Dan has served as the IP portfolio manager for a Fortune 150 defense contractor, guiding the client in developing and administering its patent, trademark and trade secret strategy.
