Steve Severson helps companies navigate through ERISA litigation. He leads FaegreBD’s ERISA litigation practice.

ERISA Litigator

Steve has served as trial counsel in litigation matters in both state and federal court. He has also argued before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Seventh and Eighth Circuits and has arbitrated matters before the New York Stock Exchange and the American Arbitration Association.

Steve has represented clients in matters alleging:
  • Imprudent investments
  • Breach of fiduciary duty 
  • Wrongful denial of pension benefits 
  • Wrongful denial or termination of disability benefits
