Sylvia St. Clair is a litigator and counselor with experience in employment issues. As a litigator, she defends claims for harassment, discrimination and retaliation, and enforces employment and non-compete agreements. She is a seasoned trial attorney and has defended and prosecuted temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunction hearings, and is experienced in all stages of litigation. Sylvia’s broad litigation experience includes defending clients in premises, commercial, product liability, personal injury, toxic tort and other exposure claims, real estate, and transportation matters.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Sylvia spent a decade-long career servicing clients in the hospitality industry. Drawing upon her hands-on management and operational experience, Sylvia counsels clients on evaluating and minimizing risk of claims of unlawful discrimination, harassment and retaliation.

Sylvia has developed effective handbook policies and best practices for workforce performance management. She drafts, interprets and negotiates employment agreements, including transition and separation agreements, employee retention agreements, and confidentiality and non-competition agreements.
