Professional Athletics Team Defends Against Wrongful Death Claims

The Minnesota Vikings football club defended against allegations that inadequate medical care was provided to Korey Stringer, a Pro Bowl offensive lineman. Stringer was a Vikings player who died from complications of heat stroke during a preseason training camp in 2001. Our firm represented the Vikings, and successfully defended the dismissal of the action based on the state worker's compensation bar.
