Fishers Urban Development, LLC completed a complex land development transaction for The Edge project, an $18 million mixed-use redevelopment project in downtown Fishers, Indiana. FaegreBD served as lead counsel in the transaction, handling all aspects of the numerous real estate, zoning, planning and development issues. In addition, FaegreBD led the effort to negotiate and obtain $7 million of economic incentives from the City.
Redeveloped on the site of a shuttered KFC restaurant and parking lot used by an adjacent office-suites building, The Edge project includes a three-story, 50,000-square-foot building with retail on the first floor and medical-office uses above; a 330-space parking garage; and a 9,000-square-foot retail office building. The attached parking garage replaced the existing surface lot south of the office suites and is shared by tenants in all three buildings.
