National Council for Behavioral Health Seeks Telemedicine Solution for Substance Use Disorders

The National Council for Behavioral Health hired our firm to engage the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the White House and Congress to create a pathway for patients to receive prescriptions for treatment for substance use disorder and other behavioral health conditions via telemedicine while complying with the Ryan Haight Act.

The Ryan Haight Online Act was passed to address the issue of online pill mills and illegal internet pharmacies prescribing controlled substances.
