Barbara J. Rohde
Barbara Rohde is an independent professional collaborating with Faegre Baker Daniels Consulting on a variety of issues involving not-for-profit organizations, local governments and corporate clients on federal-related issues, including housing, transportation, public safety, health and public works. For years, she has worked on federal legislation to advocate for clients within federal agencies and on Capitol Hill.
Barbara’s experience includes serving as Director of the State of Minnesota/Washington Office for Governor Rudy Perpich and Chief of Staff to Congressman Byron Dorgan (later Senator). She was selected for graduate internships at the United Nations in New York City and Wilson Center for International Scholars at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. She has represented the U.S. on various delegations to Japan, Australia and the former Soviet Union.
