Rachael Dettmann Spiegel is an associate in the firm's nationally ranked food litigation and regulatory practice as well as the national food and agribusiness industry team. She has an in-depth understanding of food and feed industry business practices, ingredient supply chains, and food safety regulations gained through her unique background and experience in the food and ag industry including her work as an agricultural economist at USDA. She provides practical and effective support to food and agribusiness clients on litigation, regulatory and transactional matters. Jennifer Mewaldt practices in the areas of debt and equity financing, business acquisitions and dispositions, securities regulation, and general corporate counseling. She has represented institutional lenders and venture capital and other investors, as well as borrowers and issuers, in numerous secured and unsecured private debt and equity financings and Rule 144A transactions. In connection with her financing practice, she has developed an expertise in subordination and inter-creditor issues.
