Faegre Drinker at the Top of Most Active Product Liability Defense Firms for the Last Three Years

Faegre Drinker was highlighted as being one of the most active product liability defense firms over the last three years, according to Lex Machina’s “2021 Law Firms Activity Report.” The firm was noted for handling more than 21,000 cases from 2018 through 2020, which tied for the most among all defense firms in the United States.

The report, which analyzes law firm activity in 15 practice areas and as a whole from the past three years, found that product liability was the most active practice area for all firms.

In the article “These Firms Steered The Most Cases In The Last 3 Years,” Law360 highlights that Faegre Drinker’s significant product liability defense caseload was nearly double that of the next ranked law firm.

“Lex Machina’s findings reflect that companies continue to look to Faegre Drinker product liability lawyers to handle their most critical matters,” said Joe Tanner, leader of the firm’s product liability and mass torts practice group. “We are humbled by the trust our clients place in us, and view these statistics as a testament to the strength of our national team — both in numbers and in talent.”

Faegre Drinker’s nationally ranked product liability and mass torts practice group delivers solutions for global manufacturers, distributors and retailers throughout the product life cycle. The group helps clients protect their products, brands and bottom lines with goal-driven strategies to avoid and resolve disputes.
