Beena Patel and Josh Andrews Touted in Politico for Pro Bono Refugee Advocacy

Afghan interpreters who assisted the U.S. military will soon be rewarded for their efforts, thanks in part to FaegreBD Consulting managing advisor Beena Patel and director Josh Andrews. The two were highlighted in Politico for persuading authors of the National Defense Authorization Act to include a provision for 3,000 special immigrant visas for Afghan interpreters. Andrews and Patel worked on the project pro bono while representing the International Refugee Assistance Project.
