Overview
John Evans provides strategic guidance to clients on matters pertaining to information privacy and cybersecurity. He enjoys helping clients solve problems in an increasingly complex regulatory environment. Since joining the firm as a data privacy analyst in 2019, John has helped clients navigate the proliferation of data privacy legislation at the state level. He also helps clients draft internal and external policies and documents.
Medical Research/Clinical Trial Experience
In the medical research and clinical trial context, John negotiates contracts on behalf of clients, including clinical trial agreements, research agreements and other contracts involving the exchange of data. John is a member of the firm’s FDA practice team.
Pro Bono Experience
John’s pro bono practice has focused on immigration issues faced by Afghan refugees. Working in collaboration with a team of Faegre Drinker colleagues, John helped to secure a grant of asylum for a pro bono client in 2022.
Personal Interests
John is an avid tennis player.
