Dan Mao draws from over 20 years of experience working with software and electronics companies in the United States and Asia to help clients develop, implement and optimize global patent strategies. Dan provides comprehensive intellectual property service, including patent prosecution, licensing negotiation and patent litigation. He also provides noninfringement and invalidity opinions for a variety of technologies.

Technical Experience

Dan has a doctorate in applied physics, and his technical background is an asset when developing patent strategies for complex client products and processes. Dan works for companies in various industries and technologies. He has particular experience in the following technical fields:
