Overview
Prior Experience
During law school, Katrina was a summer associate of the firm and served as a legal intern at the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office. She also participated in the University of Virginia School of Law’s International Human Rights Law Clinic.
Prior to law school, Katrina was a communications associate and internship coordinator at the Government Accountability Project in Washington, D.C. She drafted press releases, blog articles and op-ed pieces on a range of legal topics and client stories. Katrina also researched international whistleblower laws, including conducting research in Norwegian and Spanish and translating decisions.
Personal Interests
Outside the office, Katrina enjoys playing the cello, cross-stitching and traveling.

Pro Bono
During law school, Katrina worked with the Capitol Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR) Coalition, the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, and the Immigration Refugee Assistance Project. She completed UVA Law’s Pro Bono Challenge by completing more than 75 hours of pro bono while in school.
At Faegre Drinker, Katrina is involved with The Advocates for Human Rights and a case challenging the constitutionality of solitary confinement.
