Overview

Jake Torkeo provides frank counsel to ensure clients are laddering up to their financial objectives, while meeting legal and regulatory obligations. With a solid background in health law, he is particularly well positioned to support clients in the health and life sciences industries.

Prior Experience

While in law school, Jake worked as a research assistant for Professor Aila Hoss of the Hall Center for Law and Health. He conducted exhaustive statutory, regulatory and case law research on health law topics and immersed himself in legal and scientific literature on emerging public health issues. He continued this work as a legal extern for IU Health Corporate Legal Services, where he partnered with attorneys to review contracts, draft responses and prepare memoranda on complex matters relating to health law. Jake went on to broaden his focus over the course of two summers with the firm, which saw him conducting legal analyses for attorneys across a multiplicity of practice groups.
