Overview

Jayashree Venkateswaran counsels clients in finance and restructuring matters. She is a second-career law professional with an extensive background in banking and finance, education, leadership, soft skills, and communications training. Jayashree brings to her clients strong communication and interpersonal skills, a sharp attention to detail, high integrity, and accountability.

Prior Experience

During law school, Jayashree was a summer associate at Faegre Drinker, with rotations in the finance and restructuring, labor and employment, and corporate law teams, which included working on a client rotation at Wells Fargo. While in law school, she served in the Mitchell Hamline Health Law Clinic as a certified student attorney and student director of the clinic.

Before and during law school, she was a legal assistant at an immigration law firm. Prior to the law, Jayashree had a teaching career in business communications and leadership consulting, and worked in banking and finance in India and in the United States.

Personal Interests

Outside the office, Jayashree can be found reading, enjoying the outdoors with her family or working in her vegetable garden.
