Mary Will defends and counsels employers and represents clients in commercial litigation. She also helps businesses protect their proprietary and confidential information.

Employment Litigation

Mary has represented clients in employment litigation related to:
  • Discrimination
  • Harassment
  • Retaliation
  • Wrongful termination
  • Breach of contract
  • Wage and hour
  • ERISA/benefits
  • Noncompetition and trade secrets

Mary has represented employers before government agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance and the National Labor Relations Board.

Employment Counseling

Mary counsels clients on hiring and termination practices and issues, reductions in force, employment policies and agreements, labor union issues, trends in the workplace and employee relations. She assists with due diligence and in drafting agreements related to termination, executive arrangements and other employee issues that arise in the context of business transactions.
Mary provides management and employee training programs and drafts handbooks, policies and procedures. She drafts noncompetition agreements and other agreements that protect employers' trade secrets, proprietary and confidential information and client relationships.
Mary counsels companies on planning and executing reductions in force, including reviewing disparate impact analyses, separation agreements, and Older Worker Benefit Protection Act title and age listings.

Commercial Litigation & Regulatory

Mary has served as counsel in a variety of business litigations and arbitrations. She also has experience as counsel in numerous electric regulatory proceedings.
