Clarisonic Wins Judgment of Willful Patent Infringement, Trade Dress Infringement and False Advertising

Pacific Bioscience Laboratories, the maker of Clarisonic skin care devices, won an $11.6 million judgment against the maker of a competing copycat product. Faegre Baker Daniels represented Pacific Bioscience Laboratories in the victory.

After a six-day trial, the jury returned a verdict of willful patent infringement, willful trade dress infringement and willful false advertising against the defendant. After the judgment, the defendant filed for bankruptcy protection.
