Train-the-Trainer Top 10 for 2018: Planning Your Program To Keep Your Supervisors Employment-Law

Overview

Purposeful, proactive training on HR legal topics can help your supervisors feel more confident and well-supported as they handle a wide variety of personnel issues.  We will share ideas on innovative ways HR and HR Legal professionals are keeping supervisors on top of their legal games, and compare notes on fresh approaches to topics you may wish to prioritize for your 2018 training program such as:

1. Careful communications in a litigious society
2. The latest legal considerations for employer drug and alcohol testing programs
3. The changing landscape for hiring, including background check considerations
4. EEO training as culture training
5. Management challenges of family and medical leaves
6. Effective partnering to reasonably accommodate medical conditions
7. Wage-hour law compliance need-to-knows
8. Special considerations in contingent workforce management
9. The increasing impact of state and local laws on front-line management
10. Evolving legal issues in performance management

An application for standard Colorado, Indiana and Minnesota CLE credit will be submitted. The program will also be submitted to the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for continuing education credit review.

There is no fee to participate.
